Student Work

This is a display I made with cut art rain drops and tear art flowers to help teach the signs of spring.

I love Teacher Appreciation Week! Our PTO sends home a packet of ideas for the students to give to the teachers which includes a place to write a poem. This is one of many that I received this week. I love that this student (I'm sure mom helped a little) made a rhyming poem and everything is spelled correctly. I especially like that this student thinks learning is fun and I know that I had a part in that!

  1. I also love teacher appreciation! The small gifts mean so much. But the best gift of appreciation, to me, is when a student focuses, applies themselves, and really works hard!

  2. My favorite part about teacher appreciation is not so much the gifts I receive but the activities the center and parents do that involve writing down in words or pictures what the kids have to say about us as teachers. The parents also donate money to buy cards that they write what they appreciate us for. To me, there is nothing better than thoughtful words (or pictures) from the heart and they don't cost a thing!
